
EDA NOMINATION PROCESS
Nominations are free and can be submitted through our website: www.europeandiversityawards.com.
Nominations open: 10 March 2025
Nominations close: 1 August 2025
Entries are welcome from corporations, charities, community organisations, and individuals from all backgrounds. Submissions range from professionally crafted entries to heartfelt, personal nominations.
Each entry must include:

a 300 word overview;
-
a 1,000 word detailed summary of work relating to the relevant category;

a 110 word synopsis of the entry;
-
a high resolution image, 1MB or more, in JPG, PNG or PDF format.
Supporting evidence can also be uploaded and will be reviewed by the judges if required.
CRITERIA
Nominations should demonstrate (where applicable):

exceptional commitment to diversity within the chosen category;
-
work undertaken in the past 12 months with specific examples provided;

tangible data, such as figures and statistics, to substantiate the nomination;
-
clear evidence of the impact on promoting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion;
-
the nomination must originate from a European country.
SHORTLISTING PROCESS
Each entry is verified for eligibility and accuracy, with duplicate submissions removed. The total number of entries is noted for shortlisting purposes.
The Shortlisting Team evaluates all entries within each category, selecting the top 20. This preliminary shortlist is reviewed and refined, based on the quality and strength of the applications.
Key factors considered during the review include:

the strength and relevance of the nomination;

the quality of examples provided;
-
supporting evidence submitted.
JUDGING PROCESS
The Advisory Panel declares any conflicts of interest or familiarity with nominees within categories; they are then assigned specific categories to evaluate.
The judging process is conducted via an online system where the Advisory Panel allocates points and ranks the shortlisted nominees. This process determines the winner and the highly commended nominee for each category.
