Royal Bank of Scotland Campaigner of the Year – Barbara Lindsay

Barbara Lindsay is a woman of outstanding intellect and integrity. As a working mother, she has worked tirelessly to end discrimination against working women, people of ethnic origin and those with disabilities who work in the services of government departments, which are known to be a very large and unwieldy institutions.
Barbara is a Senior Policy Adviser at the Government Equalities Office. She is a leading HR professional specialising in race equality and diversity. 
Her career has included postings in the Cabinet Office, HM Treasury, and the former Department of Trade and Industry (DTI); she currently works for the Government Equalities Office. Whilst working in HM Treasury, she was a member of the team that advised members of the ANC (African National Congress) on personnel management policy prior to their coming to power.
